So, I recently found out that I got some panels accepted at Anime USA (>.<)…
…joy of joys ^.^ You have no idea how hyped I am right now…That is, until I began to think about all the other things I have to do. Getting my work schedules in order, money management in general, what format I’m going to use to present (so far, 2 are going to be PowerPoint & 2 are going to be Prezi), the fact that I have multiple panels to present; i.e., multiple clusterf*cks, how much stuff I’m going to need to print out, what should I wear (granted, I’m totally cosplaying, but I have 2 cosplays I’m considering [that I can pull off wearing on Metro w/o getting odd stares]), potentially cross promoting other things I’m doing, which cosplay should I do, should I drive vs. taking the metro (since it’s in D.C.), & a ton of other realistic geekish issues to consider.
Anyway, don’t be surprised to find me occasionally posting about my progress on all these panels & cosplay as the con time approaches (Nov. 9-11 @ the Washington Marriott Wardman Park in D.C.), ‘cause there’s going to be a lot to do (hence sh*tstorm).
Oh, yeah, what panels I’m doing…
- Unlimited Bleach Works (this is one I’ve been waiting to do, just so I can make fun of it)
- Fate Universe: I Am the Bone of My Panel…(this is going to be so fun to make)
- Weeaboos, Japanophiles, Race, & Actual Japan (I’m still conflicted on if I should do this one or not…)
- Guide to Buying ALL the Things (this one’s going to take the longest to make but will be the most informative)
So, if you’re in the area & looking for a con to go to –it’s only $50 for the most basic registration- please come & see me, but otherwise…so much to do ~.~
